1. Data controller

The data controller is Agape Group GmbH, a company incorporated under Swiss law that develops and operates the HeyFido application (the "App"). For any request regarding your data, you can write to support@heyfidoapp.com.

2. What data we collect

Account data

Email address and password (stored in encrypted form) to give you access. Optionally, a display name.

Dog and health data

Your dog's name, breed, date of birth, sex, weight and photo; training and behavior data; health data (vaccines, vet visits, weight, medications, reminders). Only if you enter them voluntarily: microchip number and owner identification details (e.g. tax code, address) used to generate the passport/health record.

Subscription data

Your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat and the app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not process or store your payment card details: payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

Usage and technical data

App usage events and aggregate statistics (via PostHog), technical information about your device and any diagnostic/crash data, to improve the service.

3. Why we process data and on what legal basis

• Provide the service (account creation, lessons, health, gamification) — performance of the contract.
• Manage your subscription and access to premium features — performance of the contract.
• Improve the App through aggregate analytics — legitimate interest.
• Send notifications (e.g. reminders, streaks) — consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your device settings.

4. Who we share data with

We rely on providers acting as data processors, selected for adequate safeguards:

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage (hosted in the EU).
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Cloudflare — delivery of lesson videos.
• Apple / Google — App distribution and payment processing.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/Switzerland. In such cases we put in place adequate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) as required by applicable law.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and while you maintain an active account. When you delete your account, the associated data is erased or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account directly in the App (Profile → Your profile) or by writing to support@heyfidoapp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

8. Minors

HeyFido is intended for adult dog owners. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or this website.
